The Apple ipad 2 is the latest version of the groundbreaking tablet device launched by Apple a couple of years ago. While the original iPad was quite popular and was received well, there were also some criticisms and Apple is hoping that the new version of the pad will correctly calm these issues. Apple has quite a good reputation for making devices that are light and designed well. Yet one complaint some people had regarding the original iPad was that it was bulky to carry around. The most important improvement, then, is that the iPad 2 is a lot more compact and a lot more thin than its predecessor. After all, iPads are made to be portable and people are supposed to like carrying them on planes, to the library, to the beach, etc. The weight of the iPad 2 is also less than the original model, and although the difference is only about 15%, even this can make a difference if you're carrying something around with you all day. This means that, with the iPad 2, Apple has successfully created a lighter and more compact portable tablet device.
The iPad LED backlit display is one of its most impressive features. You may be able to perform a variety of tasks and access the web with your smart phone, however the 9.7 inch high resolution display on the iPad offers images that are bright and vivid. Even in areas of low lighting, the backlighting allows easy viewing of the display. Regardless of how you hold it, the display automatically adjusts so it can be viewed from any angle. Your experience in viewing the web, photos or watching videos is enhanced by the iPad's display which is one of the reasons for its popularity.
One of the frustrating aspects of modern technology is that almost as soon as you buy something, a new, upgraded version of it comes out.
