When the USA emerged as a powerful country both politically and culturally within the second half of 20th century, it has left its mark in all the parts of the world with its pop songs like Adele Rolling in the Deep cover. The pop song, "Rock Around the Clock" by Bill Haley and Comets was the first rock and roll hit and it sold almost 25 million copies.
