New Age Religion? Did You Know That The New Age Is Really An Old Age Way Of Thinking.
New Age religion? What? In terms of in the way of thinking the New Age is actually the old age. And it is not a violent dogmatic brain dead way of thinking. Its very nature dictates that the New Age could not become a religion. Just be-careful of people who say they have started, or belong to a New Age religion!
Although religion has always been a throne in the side of progress, spirituality has not. Religion can be the enemy of the spirit. The New Age takes the ideas that are good for us, ignoring and condemning the ideas that have been harmful for the human-race, combining the best of religious and philosophical ideas.
As is the nature of the New age movement, today the New Age movement has evolved. It is combining science, Quantum physics, and scientific experimentation to gather proof of spirituality. It is about time science and spirituality were put back together. In ancient times there was no separation.
The New Age is old, but is was never a religion. It was a time of enlightenment, and acceptance of practically any belief. A way of grasping reality and the universe both through spirituality and science. But it was destroyed by religion, by the Christians, who brought a dogmatic, literalistic belief system to an enlightened empire. At that point the human race plunged into darkness and ignorance for centuries.
Religion puts our world into danger even today, one religion fighting another, living separate from each other, as hated enemies, when there is so much that could unite them.
If there was a New Age religion it would follow the Unitarian Church, which accepts and communes and loves all people of all religions, and Unitarians of all religious beliefs worship God as one, under one roof. This is what the world needs more of. This is the way it should be everywhere.
Although most religions are preaching the same thing, they continue to pull us apart, pitting brother against brother. If only people would see the similarities not the differences.
The New Age is an attempt to unify all people, but not through a New Age religion, but through discovering the things that unify all of us, not separate us.
Becoming unified is the way of the future. Don't join or start a New Age religion, the time of religion is over. The time is coming. In Europe they turn church's into art galleries, and restaurants. Religion that does not transform with the perpetual change that is law number one in the Universe are doomed to crumble into dust through entropy, instead of transforming into something truly sublime.
