Purchasing Affordable External Doors Explored In Depth
OK before I get into the nitty gritty I would like to admit something to the readers of this article - I am a man that is very much under the thumb. Yes it is most certainly my wife who wears the trousers in our house. Why don't you stand up for yourself? Well if you saw my wife you would understand lol! The reason I mention the above is to make you realise why, during these most troublesome of economic times, I did not put my foot down and tell my wife where to go when she insisted that we should purchase some new external doors.
In reality I love my wife, who is called Amy, to bits. She is very much a leader and is a woman who seemingly always gets what she wants. One of her most negative characteristics however is her inability to listen at times - as well as her lack of patience. For example after she spoke of her desire to purchase these new doors I attempted to explain to her that the family finances were quite tight at the moment and that I was trying to leave our savings untouched just in case one of us were to lose our jobs, which in this financial climate is a real possibility. Her reply was quite shocking and rather annoying: "Stop being so tight Steve, everything will be fine". And there was me just attempting to protect the family!
So external doors it was to be - it was then a case of trying to obtain the most affordable price but where the quality was not compromised. I like to think that I am pretty good at sourcing a bargain and after a sustained period of searching I was rather pleased to obtain a top notch deal on the internet. I often left quite astounded at just how much lower the prices seem to be on the world wide web - this is without doubt the future of shopping.
But guess what happened next? When hearing how little we had paid my wife then started talking about buying some composite doors as well! When will it all end? Probably when she dies - but I for one hope that is not for a long long time!
