Why I Play Video Games
p4eople of all ages have enjoyed playing video games since they were introduced many years ago. The success of gaming is reflected in the fact that it is a multi billion dollar industry. The amazing part is that gaming transcends people of all ages.
When you are young you are supposed to go out and play. There is nothing that seems to stop a child from learning how to have fun with something. We have always enjoyed the excitement that games gave us. Video games attraction is that they are full of action and three dimensional in nature, they can be played alone, have fascinating graphics, and are fast paced and when a person considers the different gaming consoles like the xbox 360 kinect, the Nintendo Wii, and the Playstation move, the way that we enjoy playing games is constantly evolving and will be sure to provide a person with even more excitement in the future.
Because of the growing nature of the business and with the excitement that was generated by the recent xbox 360 kinect release date it is a good time to look at the reasons that people are playing video games and what keeps bringing people back to the screen for more.
1) Games require a person to think and to move around. Gamers have to learn to react quickly in order for them to be successful.
2) Playing games can strengthen a person’s vision. There is a direct correlation between improved eyesight and how much a person plays.
3) Gaming is another way to improve your physical stature. You have to get up and move to play the newest generation of platforms and that is always good for your body.
4) Gamers have been able to get better grades. For kids who struggle in math, playing games can help. Using your mind is always a good thing and has a broad effect on a person.
5.) Gamers are able to play out their fantasies. Games today have very distinct plots and kids learn how to immerse themselves in it. Gaming can allow a kid to dream big while they are playing. By slipping into a fantasy world a person can become someone that before was just an image in their mind.
6) The creative thinking process is enhanced by video games. Many games require a person to plan what they are going to do before they execute it.
7) You can learn real life things when paying. It is well know that games are very capable of teaching someone about just about any subject.
There are many games that will help a person use their mind to figure out what to do next. These are things that can help children later in their life.
9) Gamers will learn how to focus better and improve their reflexes. It takes a lot of energy for someone to stare at a screen. Gamers learn to focus on the screen even if things keep going on around them as they play.
10) You can make friends because of games. Gamers do not play alone all of the time. Games can teach people how to win or lose gracefully. You can also find titles that encourage people to play as a team to be successful.
Not everyone agrees there is a place for video games in the world today. People can think what they want. It requires a lot of skill to successfully complete some of the games that are available. Kids are able to achieve many things when they play the games. They are developing skills that will help them later in their life. As long as a person keeps their gaming in balance with their life they will enjoy it. The key is to make sure that there are limits. Kids especially have to understand that there is more to life than the video game they are playing. Playing games should be kept in balance with everything else. People will enjoy the balance.
