What We Were Hired To Do
With the popularity of Power Point, entire companies have been developed to strictly make Power Point presentations for paying clients. A past customer that hired me had an important meeting where they had planned to win a contract with a leading local business. Their speech and presentation had to be 2 hours in length and be complete and detailed. One stipulation was that only 3 people could do the actual live presentation. A very long speak even if you have visual aids like a Power Point presentation to help keep you on track. My clients had dozens of people that could speak and help prove that they were the right company for the contract. How We Did It
They recorded each individual on video and added the video files into the Power Point presentation. It was an ingenious plan! After 3 days of filming testimonials, the video clips were rendered and sent to the company who was busy preparing the final Power Point file. When it came to the day to present their proposal, they blew everyone away with the Power Point presentation they had created. About month had passed and they finally heard that the contract was awarded to my client! It was a huge win for them because of how much the contract was worth. The Result
The response they received from the company was that their particular presentation totally out-shined the other companies bidding on the same contract. This was for the most part a result of using all the video clips of key members of the bidding company's staff. They won even though the conditions of the presentation stated they could have no more than 3 live presenters, but with the assistance of video in their Power Point presentation, they actually had a whopping 18 people making the proposal!
