Advice On Buying The Right HD Video Camera
There are a lot of HD Video Recorders to choose from. With such a big amount of different models to choose from, it is troublesome to know definitely if you got the best HD video recorder for your wishes. Canon has released some great HD cameras in the past few years. The price of the HF200 is higher than the majority of the other models it is competing with, however what you get from this camera certainly justifies the price to me. There's also the added bonus of the camera being far littler then those models. Let us take a look at a couple of things that make the Canon HF200 one of the best hd camcorders out there.
Outstanding video quality was the first thing that caught my attention about this camera. The video is really crisp with vibrant colours that give a true to life picture. Dim light conditions don't seem to be a difficulty either. Landscapes are particularly good to shoot with this camera because it has a 15x zoom. HD video combined with this great zoom capacity actually makes for some great out of doors shots.
All the buttons and user features are easily reached, and straightforward to manipulate. Using the Video Image mode you can also make a highlight reel of four second clips and edit in background music from a cd that comes in the box. The average battery life-span for the camera is about 1.5 hours. This could suit most people's needs , unless you want to shoot for hours at a time. Longer shots can be acheived by purchasing further batteries from Canon that can double or maybe treble the recording times.
The genuine stumbling block for me with this camera is the video quality. The features are good and convenient to use. Even though they were tricky to use, I think I would be actually hard pressed to find a camera with video as fantastic as the HF200. Rivals have tried to create video that's as good as Canon's, but this far I haven't seen anything come close. And since it uses an SD card, you can simply transfer video from the camera to your PC in a snap.
Costing close to $1249, it's a dearer camera, but the video quality and features definitely make it worthwhile. Cheaper competitor cameras have not even come close to the HF200 vis video quality or features. Canon has a genuine win with this product as they have created one of the best HD camcorders available.
