Many years ago, it would be most unlikely to edit videos at home as it can only be done in exclusive editor apartments. But now, things are quite different. If you have got a desktop computer with enough drive space, CPU power, and FireWire or USB port, you are now able to edit respected videos to create high quality videos with all of the effects you see in modern pro pictures. When you're modifying videos, massive CPU power is being used as you move plenty of info from and to the disk.
Having a fast machine enables you to write and render in a couple of minutes but if you are employing a slow computer, the task will take several hours. Now this is possible only if you are using 512 MB RAM but if you're using the littler one, the computer will work slower.
