Reasons To Be A Gamer
Over the past forty years people have grown up playing video games and have taught the new generations how to have fun with them. The success of gaming is reflected in the fact that it is a multi billion dollar industry. And, games fascinate not just children but adults as well.
Part of growing up is learning how to play games. Kids are able to make a game out of just about anything. Playing games can bring a smile to just about anyone’s face. Video games attraction is that they are full of action and three dimensional in nature, they can be played alone, have fascinating graphics, and are fast paced and when a person considers the different gaming consoles like the xbox 360 kinect, the Nintendo Wii, and the Playstation move, the way that we enjoy playing games is constantly evolving and will be sure to provide a person with even more excitement in the future.
Because of the growing nature of the business and with the excitement that was generated by the recent xbox 360 kinect release date it is a good time to look at the reasons that people are playing video games and what keeps bringing people back to the screen for more.
1) Games require a person to think and to move around. It is a learning experience for a person to figure out how to beat a game.
2) Video games exercise the eyes. There have been a lot of studies backing up this claim that shows this benefit of gaming.
3) Video games help a person’s body shape. You have to get up and move to play the newest generation of platforms and that is always good for your body.

5.) Gamers are able to play out their fantasies. Children are able to comprehend the flow of a story as well as its bases. Gaming can allow a kid to dream big while they are playing. They let them experience many things that they otherwise could not have done.
6) Gamers have to think in new ways. Many games require a person to plan what they are going to do before they execute it.
7) gamers are taught many things while they play. Games can be based on historical situations or scientific theories that will pass along some knowledge as they are played.
Video games sharpen thinking abilities and problem solving skills. These are skills that can be used in many things outside of the gaming world.
9) People who play games are able to stay focused on many things and will be more coordinated by playing. It takes a lot of energy for someone to stare at a screen. Gamers learn to focus on the screen even if things keep going on around them as they play.
10) You can make friends because of games. Gamers do not play alone all of the time. Games can teach people how to win or lose gracefully. In addition to competitive games gamers can play games that require them to work together.
Some people will always insist that gaming is not good for anyone. That does not matter. Gamers have to use their heads to take in everything that happens during a game. Any time a child succeeds at anything they should be praised. Kids will be able to take the good parts of video games and use them when they are older. it is a part of a person’s life that can provide good things if done right. Just like most things, an excess is not healthy. A child should not become so immersed in the games that they forget everything else. Playing games should be kept in balance with everything else. It can not define a person.
