Lighting
One of the worst things about watching things on the web is when you can't see the video very well because of poor lighting. Make sure your subject is well lit. If you're sitting in front of your computer using a web cam, then make sure you have the lights on in the room. Consider moving some lights closer to you and placing a light source on both sides of you. By simply lighting up your video, you are making your videos much more watchable and enjoyable. 3
Eye Contact
If the video is going to be just you talking to the camera, don't forget to make eye contact. Some people look around the room or are looking at something else. If you're talking to the camera, you are talking to the world. Consider that and continue to make eye contact with the camera when you are making your video.
