Treating herself to a day of retail therapy, Britney Spears was spotted out spending time shopping with her mother, Lynne Spears, in Los Angeles, California on Monday afternoon (March 8).

Joined by a helping hand, the “Womanizer singer and her mom gallivanted from shop to shop at the Glendale Galleria, loading up on a bagful of purchases at the Barneys New York department store.

BRITNEY Spears‘ dad has banned the troubled singer from talking to her former party pal Lindsay Lohan.

Jamie Spears — who’s Britney’s co-conservator, meaning he’s in control of all her affairs — apparently hit the roof when he found out his daughter had been speaking on the phone with the Mean Girls actress.

“The trouble started when Lindsay reached out to Britney for advice on getting her career back on track,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“They simply chatted by phone — but when Britney mentioned it to Jamie, he exploded.

“He instantly phoned Lindsay’s managers and told them he would NOT tolerate further attempts to contact his daughter.

“Britney’s so totally humiliated — she feels like she’s 13 again. It’s embarrassing for her that she’s 28 years old, but her dad gets to tell her who her friends will be.

“On the other hand, Jamie’s trying to keep what he deems to be bad influences away from his daughter — and Lindsay certainly qualifies.”

Rumor has it Britney will appear on Access Hollywood tomorrow with a new behind-the-scenes Candies photo (see above), as well as a backstage look at her shoot with Mark Siegler.There is also a small interview with Britney in which she claims “Candies is cool and fun.” The dres…ses are cute. I’m so happy to be working with candies again.

Access Hollywood and Entertainment Tonight will also have footage of her photoshoot with Terry Richardson.In one photo, Britney wears white lingerie, holding a pink teddy bear straddling her shoulders. Another shot is of Britney leaning back on a motorcycle wearing a red top and black belt. The third never-before-seen shot is of Britney leaning on a table in a bright dressing room wearing a pink tank and white jacket and blue jeans; lots of perfume on the table.

The campaign slogan is called “Through The Lens”.

Also, Candies’ Chief Marketing Officer Dari Marder says two new Britney-Candies billboards will be unveiled in Times Square in the next week!

UPDATE: Apparently Britney had 3 different photo sessions for the Candie’s promotion this season. The photographers were as follows:

The rumoured first single from Brit’s upcoming album, due for release in June, is “ready to roll” according to it’s producer David Guetta. Although no confirmation was made on whether or not the track will be the first single, Guetta told Sydney radio hosts Kyle & Jackie O that a song had been completed within the last month.

On the eve of Guetta being a headline act at the upcoming Future Music Festivals around the country, will we hear a snippet of this new track? Those attending, get your mobile phones at the ready!
